FCL: send the packing list, address and date together
40HQ containers are a core part of E-Ter’s sea freight work. Send an outline packing list, product names and quantities, the loading address in China, the Saudi destination city and planned loading date. For mixed products, list the items separately and include any available HS codes for further review.
FCL discussions usually cover a package from factory loading through trucking, export declaration, sea freight, Saudi clearance and final delivery. Confirm inclusions and exclusions with the quotation. Unloading at the final destination is normally the customer’s responsibility and should be discussed before confirmation.
LCL: product photos and packaging matter
Send product photos, names, brand details, carton count, volume, weight and Saudi delivery city. Explain batteries, magnets and other special functions so the team can review acceptance conditions. Classification and pricing depend on the actual product information.
Say where the cargo will be delivered
Amazon / Noon warehouse delivery and delivery to a customer’s own warehouse or another address need separate planning. Provide the city, receiving address or marketplace warehouse code, and say whether you need warehouse-to-warehouse or door-to-door service. E-Ter has Chinese receiving warehouses in Yiwu, Shenzhen and Guangzhou; confirm the receiving location with the team.
What to check after the quotation
Supplier estimates support initial discussions. Final LCL pricing needs the measured receiving data and customer confirmation. If the loading date or quotation conditions change, reconfirm the applicable price before shipping. A historical quotation should not be reused automatically for a new shipment.
Sources & verification
